i am so much excited for our Stake Youth Conference. :) that will be on May 14-16. for those who have no idea what a Stake Youth Conference or SYC is, it is a program of our Church which is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (kinda long, eh) for the youths, like me. siguro maicocompare ko siya sa isang youth camp pero ang pinagkaiba lang ehh, you're not going to sleep in tents, have bonfire, or whatever. it is a three-day program where you can meet new friends pero member din siya ng church. there are so many activities there which can help you gain your faith in God. there you can also enhance your talents and self-esteem. tinuturo rin dun ang iba't ibang mga things na makakatulong sayo in your everyday life. meron rin doong stage play or road show which we call "Spectacular" na nagpapakita ng lessons for the viewers. madalas na pinapalabas doon ay story sa Bible. the next night naman, meron namang party/dance social. our theme for this year is Polynacian so we have to dress like Polynecians but still following the standards. on that dance social, we get to dance with others (opposite sex) and know them by talking.
there are so much activities in our church that can help us youths and isa na dun itong upcoming SYC namin. i am so much excited dahil magkakaron na naman ako ng bagong friends and makikita ko na ulit mga old friends ko from other places. and i know may bago na naman ako matututunan. :] ok, so much for that. i'll tell you na lang guys what will going to happen on our SYC on my next post. :D take care guys!
